Global Legal Renaming Process to Aperam Recycling takes next step

SHEFFIELD, UK – Following the visual rebranding of the EMEA North region last year, the company is pleased to announce that its British entity, ELG Metals UK, has officially changed its legal name to Aperam Recycling Stainless UK Ltd. 

This is the last business of the EMEA North region to change its name, following the Dutch entity Aperam Recycling Stainless Netherlands (formerly Jewometaal), Aperam Recycling Stainless Belgium (formerly ASB Recycling) and Aperam Recycling Stainless Germany (formerly Eisenlegierungen). The renaming marks a pivotal milestone in the global alignment with the "One Aperam" vision.

The harmonization of this region’s identity with the Aperam group is a big milestone in the integration journey.

The UK business is a cornerstone of Aperam Recycling’s stainless steel recycling in Europe. Today, we are proud to build upward from this foundation under a unified global banner. But one thing does not change: Our values, our team, and our unwavering commitment to deliver value to our partners stay the same.

While the name is new, all legal and operational aspects remain the same, ensuring a seamless transition for all stakeholders.
